TAS5805M: Turn off SDOUT

Hi team,

Is TAS5805M able to shut off SDOUT by writing to register? I only found SDOUT_SEL Register (30h) can select SDOUT source.

Sorry it can't be totally turn off. But in the PPC3, you can set digital value -110dB to I2S, it's almost no output value.

Thanks! This setting enables what customer wants to do.

However customer found it doesn't work when SDOUT_SEL = 1 (Pre-processing). Is it correct behavior, right?

What I wants to confirm is that customer must set SDOUT_SEL=0 at first, then set L to L and R to R is -110dB.

Please confirm whether this programming sequence is correct or not.

Hello Hayashi,

Yes if it's pre-processing the SDOUT will just be transmitting the input I2S data, you will need to select post-processing and follow the guidance as shown by Shadow.
