I am having some trouble playing audio on the TLV320AIC3254EVM-K connected to a laptop running Windows 7. I found a previous E2E topic that got me past one hurdle. In order to see the EVM with the AIC3254 CS, I need to run AIC3254 CS as an administrator.
When I bring up the AIC3254 CS, I get the following
Firmware Name: USB-MODEVM, Version: 2.02
USB Interface: I2C Fast, I2C ADDRESS: 0x30
When I go to the Device Manager, USB-MODEVM shows up under "Sound, video and game controllers". After I double-click on the USB-MODEVM device, the Device Manager brings up the USB-MODEVM Properties window. Under "Device status" on the General tab, I see "No drivers are installed for this device." If I go to the Driver tab and click on "Update Driver" and select the option to search automatically, I get a message saying the driver is up to date.
Is there anything missing from the setup? How can I play audio, say from Windows Media Player, and hear it on the J9 headphone output of the EVM?
Thanks,
Clarke
