Hi Experts,
Seeking your help on this query from Cx:
I am looking for some information on whether the PCM2912 is a suitable IC for our application. We need a solution which allows us to connect an 3.5mm headset to the PC using the USB port (ie. like a USB to 3.5mm Audio adapter). Is the PCM2912 a popular chip for this type of application? Seems an NRND, is the PCM2912A work also?
Lastly, we're also looking for a simple solution to add a 4-port usb 3.0 hub functionality into our product and would appreciate any recommendations from your experts.
Regards,
Archie A.
Hi Archie,
Yes PCM2912 is a popular device and should be suitable for your application outlined. See picture:
In regards to other question, I'm unsure but I know TI has USB hubs, I would create another E2E thread to USB product line.
Hi Dave,
Apology for the delayed update, but I am still looking to your advice as you noted, with separate thread.
Any update? Can you send me the link?
Thank you,
Archie A.
Hi Artzy,
I'm not understanding your question. If question is directed to a USB group I don't have access to it unless you provide the link or I find it manually.
Hello Daveon,
Seems that you wanted me to post the query to other forums about the USB hub. Posted it here:

Thank you.
