INA2137: UA

Part Number: INA2137

I am a visual inspector for a testing company and we have a customer who is stating that the date code can be determined from the trace code on the device markings. I have been doing research throughout the TI website and I have found nothing to support their claims. I am trying to reach out to verify if the date code can be verified from the trace code on the devices and if there are any supporting resources to help the situation.

Thank you.

  • Hello Hunter,

We can't disclose all of the marking information for the INA2137UA because of grey market counterfeiters who would use it to mark their goods. But I will give the portion of the marking information that indicates date code.

On the top line is a 7-digit alphanumeric to the right of the BB logo. The first digit is the last number of the year of manufacturing. The second is an alphanumeric that represents the month of manufacture. Since it is a single alphanumeric digit it uses 1 -9 for the first nine months, and the alphabet for the remaining months.

This is the extent of the information that I am able to access from Applications Engineering. I hope this helps.

    Regards, Thomas
