PCM1681: questions of two PCM1681s worked with TDM mode

Hello，

I  have some questions to confirm with you.

1.Two PCM1681 worked with TDM mode, if the I2S data could connect together? Or it is separate connected the TMD data of the front-ended device.

2. Under TDM mode, how to deal with  the remained I2S data ? 

3.Does ZR1/ZR2 of PCM1681 work  independently？

    Hi Kaylin,

    1- PCM1681 is an eight channel DAC and you can feed TDM8 data to it directly as it is intended. However if you want to use TDM8 into 2 PCM1681 in parallel  and feed the TDM data set into them, you need to shift the data going to the second device.   

    2-If for example you have TDM8 but you need to use only the first 2 channels , you can mute the unused channels , please refer to section 8.6.2.2 of datasheet.

    3- ZR1/ZR2 works independently from each other, Please refer to 8.6.2.15 AZRO[1:0]: Zero-Flag Channel-Combination Select for detail description of setting it up.
