We using the TLV320AIC3254 I2S Codec in TigerLake-H Mainboard.

1. Need TLV320AIC3254 Driver for Windows 10 and Linux?

- If so, where can I get the driver?

2. I am currently developing with a bios engineer. I wonder if the HID of tlv320aic3254 exists and can I know it?

1. Can I understand that Windows 10 can be used without a driver?

2. May I know the hardware ID of TLV320AIC3254?
* When working with BIOS, it is said that HID must be present.

Sorry to tell you we don't have windows driver for aic3254. Our suggestion is to use our Linux driver as the sample code to write the windows driver.

We have some Question about windows driver.

1. According to the reply, I understood that there is no Windows Driver, and that I need to create a Driver using the Linux Source Code.

2. In summary, are you saying that in order to use the TLV320AIC3254 in Windows 10, it cannot work with the Windows 10 basic driver?

3. Is it not possible to receive additional HID information for aic3254?

Without specially-developed windows driver, aic3254 can't work under Windows system.

As to HID information, it must be set manually in BIOS and driver inf file must contained the same HID information, then the driver can be deployed for the device.

One more thins, if you plan to develop windows driver, HLK test also should be involve into driver development.
