PCM6240-Q1: For sharing ASI bus

Hello team,

Would you please check if PCM6240-Q1 can support the following configuration? The AP processors may need both the same data simultaneously and separately.

If yes, can you explain how to connect it? And I'm wondering if it can be implemented using GPIOx of PCM6240-Q1.

Hey Sam Lee,

You can connect the two microphones to the PCM6240-Q1 and use I2S if there are two channels or TDM if there are more than 2 channels... and the I2S and TDM interfaces can linked to the two endpoints (AP1 & AP2) if the channels are put in parallel and share a node going into the AP devices. When operating the AP devices, make sure they are synchronous and there's only one master clock being generated from either the EVM or AP.
