Hello,

I am setting up an AGC in PurePath Studio. I believe I understand all of the parameters. However, I don't understand how to set the AGC_MIN_CHANGE value as shown in the image. I know what this parameter is, but I don't know how the Value corresponds to the actual dB value.

Hi Eric,

You should be able to right click the parameter and/or the AGC block and click the "help" button. That will take you to the documentation of the block and there should be a description of how to convert the floating point to a meaningful value.

Hi,

The dB value is just the 20 log of the value i.e. 20 log (0.00625) = -44dB.

A -44 dB value does not make sense for the AGC_MIN_CHANGE value. This value applies to the Gain Hysteresis which is usually set to a value around -1 or -2 dB. Is that for sure the right number?

I believe this is just a number that user will tune/adjust, but the conversion is a direct conversion as with other parameters.
