SRC4190: Connect i2s master (Dout) to another i2s master (Din) via sample rate converter

Hello the community,

i have two I2S host configured as a master (both generates LRCLK and BCLK), i want to send the audio data output of one host to the data input of the other one.

(At the origin, the interface of the host are planned to be connected to one audio codec : TLV320AIC3204)

I have no solution to synchronized the frame between each host.

Would it be possible to link the host through a SRC419x in order to sync the frame ? One host can provide a MCLK (8 * 256 kHz) as a reference clock.

The host are identical, with the same Fs : 8kHz, 16 bits per channel, BCLK = 32*Fs

Hello

,From your description I don't see any issue using SRC4190 to do this. For this you can refer to Table 1. Setting the Serial Port Modes and should be good to go.
