PCM4222EVM: Troubleshooting

Part Number: PCM4222EVM

Hi Experts,

Good day! We need your assistance with our customer's inquiry below.

I have not been able to get the EVM working.

Initially, I made a mistake hooking up the analog power supply. I reversed the ground and negative wires. This blew a fuse on my power supply. It took me a while to notice that issue. Meanwhile, the positive supply was on. I noticed the LED indicators were red.

After I corrected the analog power supply hookup, I checked the voltages on the board and found the correct +4 V on the analog supply and +3.3V on the digital section. There was no color on the LEDs at this point.

I have been through the configuration of the dip switches multiple times. I hooked up my oscilloscope to the J6 Audio Serial Port and there was no signal.  There is no signal at the AES Output J7 and J9.

I am not sure if I damaged the EVM initially, or whether it is still not configured correctly.

Do you have any suggestions on how I should proceed with troubleshooting or configuring?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Jonathan
