TAS5613A PVdd above recommended

This is George Biner from Arrow L A

We have a customer who wants to do a demo of a TAS5613A system using the EVM.  As a power supply, they have a TI PMP PS design available that can put out 42V/6A.  Power output will ultimately be 2x150W, 4ohm, 1%THD (but the 6A will limit this).

Is it possible to run the TAS5613EVM at 42V for demo purposes? this is above the operating max but below the abs max.

It can not be recomended to go over the max recomended operating supply voltage - for the TAS5613A this is 38V

The TI PMP Ps design also probaly have the 42V as nominal - therefore a change is needed - eeither on the PMP design - the voltage sense divider need to be adjusted to set the output voltage to 36V, or the customer should get an amplifier EVM than can handle the 42V like a TAS5630 EVM

    best regards
