Hello,

At the new project, we want to mixing the signal from SDIN1 and SDIN2.

Should both I2S signal be synchronized?
Where is the document to describe input gain register setting for SDIN1 and 2?

Hi Mochizuki,

Unfortunately, SDIN2 cannot be used for playback, thus it cannot be mixed with SDIN1 data.

Hi Mochizuki,

IC link function is basically sharing the gain between a pair of devices; the intention of this gain sharing is to keep the stereo image in the event of one of the devices getting attenuated due to speaker protection algorithm.

This function has been replaced for a dedicated pin (ICC) in later devices such as TAS2780: https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tas2780.pdf#page=26&zoom=100,0,894
