Hi Expert,

Thanks a lot for your warm help!

My customer using TAS2505-Q1 in Auto Cockpit.

To meet ISO26262 standard, the FIT of TAS2505 must to meet 70%.

Is there any actions (like external circuit change/ Register) that we can do to meet the requirement of ISO26262?

Can you please elaborate on what are the requirements for this FIT?

You can refer to the ISO26262 P24. There is an requirement that the estimated failure should have a comparable confidence level of at least 70%.

Should the parameters equal to FIT 70% or not?

Hi Imelda,

Our TI.com site provides the following information (0.7) for FIT: MTBF and FIT Rate Estimator

Adjusting the calculation tool for 70% confidence level, the FIT is about 0.87.
