PCM3060: full-duplex, DAC works, ADC not

PCM3060: Input of 3Vpp to ADC block - DS says 3Vpp tolerance but extremes are written as -0.3V to 6V

I did input -3 to +3 Vpp via my phones jack output. Will this cause a problem/damage to the ADC block?
