PUREPATHCONSOLE: problem with AGC setting

J'ai un fichier sur audacity composé de 3 échantillons son avec 3 gains différents : un gain faible, un gain normal à hauteur de voix car le fichier est un enregistrement voix, et un gain fort. Je souhaite régler un AGC sur pure path studio afin que ce qui sort de ma chaine de traitement audio à la fin soit audible (raisonnable pour une voix qui va finir dans des écouteurs).La chaine totale sert à extraire la voix du bruit pour les ouvriers qui souhaitent communiquer en usine. Quels paramètres de l'agc vaut-il mieux modifier? Ceux par défaut n'amplifient pas le signal faible et ne réduisent  pas le signal très amplifié. Or je recherche surtout à réduire le signal fort pour éviter de rendre l'utilisateur sourd. Quand je modifie le AGC_MIN_CHNAGE, le AGC_MIN_GAIN, réduit le AGC_ATTACK, cela ne change rien.

    So, my problem is that I want to do the settings of an AGC on pure path studio, in order to have the same level of signal. If the signal is too low, increase it, or if it's too high (saturated), reduce it?

    I'm currently working on a device that is plugged to different ear protection for communication in factory where there is a lot of noise. The aim of this device is to isolate the voice, and to allow people to cmmuicate in the noise. But, according to the position and brand of the mic, the level that is received with a fixed gain is not really accurate, too low or to high and dangerous for the ear.

    For testing the AGC in the chain traitment, I'm recording the same signal with 3 levels in dB, and with audacity, I'm recording how the electronic card behave with the traitment chain on pur path studio, with different settings on AGC. But for now, I don't see big difference when i'm decreasing attack time, or change the AGC_MIN_CHANGE, AGC_MIN_GAIN, AGC_MAX_CHANGE or AGC_MAX_GAIN. Could you please help me. The thing I managed to do is to reduced the high signal but the low o ne is still low.

    What device are you working with?

    Are you saying the low signal is still low but the high level is reduced? The last statement was covered by the picture.

    Try changing the threshold and here is an apps. note on AGC that might help.

    I meant what audio device you are working on in this system?

    Try with just low signal by itself and tune the parameter till you see the changes you want then try with your test case.
