I am using the TPA3118D2QDAPRQ1 part is my design. Please review the attached file and share your feedback if any.

Also, I want to know that whether the input comes from line-in jack(P,N) or headphone jack(HPR, HPL)?

Hello Yash,

The Bootstrap capacitance is not sufficient, needs to be 220nF. You only have bulk capacitance, need some high/mid frequency decoupling capacitors close to the PVDD pins. Your L-C filter seems incorrect, you have a 10uH inductor with a 1nF cap instead of a 1uF cap.

Usually inputs we see are line-in but as long as the input audio signal is within our voltage limits you would hear sound.

Thanks Luis for the feedback. I'll do changes in my design as per your recommendation:

1. Need to be add low/mid freq decaps at PVCC pins.

2. LC filter ---> L-10uH with C - 1uF cap

Also, Let me know that at pin 4,5,10,11 --- only 1nF is sufficient or do we need to add RC filter?

Is there any additional components required at Speaker Out pin(Pin 27,29, 23,21 pin) ?

Hello Yash,

Please remember the BST cap modification as well.

Insofar as the input pins please refer to section 7.3.2 Input Impedance on the datasheet as we outline recommended input AC cap values for the input impedance given the gain configurations.

For the speaker out, only the output L-C filter is required but having space for an output zobel network is something we recommend to deal with EMI purposes. On the EVM we have 3.3 ohm 0603 and 0.01uf 0805.
