TAS5805MEVM: PurePath Console 3 and TAS5805M Software

Dear team,

My customer wants to start evalulation of the TAS5805MEVM. They already requested the PurePath Console 3 and TAS5805M Software and got it. When they tried to install it to their PC, "TAS5805M" is displayed at "Available EVM Apps" as below picture, but althoiugh they clicked the "TAS5805M", the installation fails with a red display (problems occurred…).

They have evaluated the TAS5825MEVM and have installed the TAS5825M software.
Do you know why?
Can they install a new device software without uninstalling the TAS5825M?

Hi,

both should be able to install in ppc3.

is that possible customer's pc updated firewall or any security limitation.

i think customer can take a try other pc which has no security limitation.

Hi Jesse-san,

The customer tried your suggestions, but they have not resolved the installation faile issue.
The version of PPC3 which they have gotten from TI and are trying to install on their PC is "V3.2.1".

Are there any other solutions to the issue.

Hi Jesse-san,

The customer tried re-install PPC3 and tried to install the TAS5805M EVM apps, but "Problems occured during installation. Refresh Available EVM Apps before trying again." message was still displayed.

Are there any other solutionst to this issue.

Does it works when you change another PC?

Maybe you can reinstall the PPC3 software to have another try.

No, it does not work when the customer changed another PC. The other person of the customer has also the same issue.
