AIC3101 and I2C issue

D2,

The AIC3101 is not responding to the i2c commands.

We checked the reset pin, the clock, the power supply. The chip always NACKs (i.e. means never ACKs).

I have one more device on the i2c bus that is answering correctly to i2c commands. It is a eeprom with address 0x50.

I am wondering if there is a special i2c settings that need to be implement. I am using the DM365.

Clock is set a 100khz, with duty cycle at 50%. Timing on the bus looks correct and follows the AIC3101 spec.

I have been trying to test with Spectrum Digital AIC3101 test program. But does not work.

We also changed the chip on the board. But same results.

I have been 2 months dealing with this issue.
