TAS2505: RST Pin Floating

Hi Michael,

Leaving RST floating is not suggested, as the chip doesn't have an internal pull up for that pin. Any coupling or noise on the pin could cause the chip to spontaneously reset during operation.

My recommendation is to use a pull up resistor to pull RST up to IOVDD. If you care to add a reset button, use it to short RST to ground.
