TLV320ADC6140: Understanding Single-Ended Line-In Connections & MICBIAS

Hi!

When connecting line-level (+/- 1.736V, 1.228Vrm) single-ended w/ AC coupling capacitors, is any external connection with MICBIAS needed? How are the INxP and INxM lines biased? There isn't much info on connecting single-ended inputs in the datasheet/app notes for the TLV320ADCx parts. If I'm missing a key doc though, feel free to point me to it!

Hey Peter,

The MICBIAS is needed for biasing the mic level inputs. Line level inputs do not need a micbias. The datasheet shows you how to select the sort of input you are using, whether it is mic input or line input, single ended or differential. here is an example for selecting an input type for channel 1:
