TAS5825MEVM-SB: TAS5825M speaker characterization using learning board

Part Number: TAS5825MEVM-SB
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5825M

Hello,

I am trying to measure speaker thermal properties for use in the TAS5825M. I have several questions:

1. Can I measure thermal properties using PPC3, PPCEVM, and TAS5825M-EVM (I already own these)?

2. If not, can I use the PP-SALB-EVM2 to take these measurements?

3. If not, I have seen in other posts that the MPA team uses an XMOS learning board for speaker measurements for use in the PPC3 with TAS58xx amps. Can I purchase this board? Or borrow it? I have several speakers I would like to measure. TAS3251 This post suggests there is a Revision D capable of generating smart amp parameters with XMOS host.

Thanks so much,

Peter
