TLV320AIC3110: SPEAKER

Hi,

We are using TLV320AIC3110IRHBR in our design for I2S interface. In datasheet it is mentioned as stereo  Class D speaker. What type of speakers need to be connected. Is the mentioned speaker part number "AS01808MR-R" can be used?  Kindly suggest a speaker part as soon as possible.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The TLV320AIC3110IRHBR Audio CODEC has a class D speaker driver capable of driving 1.29-W to a 8 Ohm load. The AS01808MR-R speaker you have a selected would be a good place to start. However, any 8-ohm speaker that is rated for around 1.29W will do. 

    As for a programming adapter for I2S, I believe you are asking how to program the CODEC. CODEC configuration is done using I2C writes to the desired registers (see 7.4.1 TLV320AIC3110 Register Map)
