Hi

Bout to buy the CC8520 and was wondering if I could use this for making my rear speakers wireless?

The setup is the usual one, 2 phones out to the rear speakers.

    The CC8520 is very capable of making your rear speakers wireless, but the CC8520 by itself it is not capable of capable of directly driving the speakers.  From the head unit you would need an Analog to Digital Converter, and back at the speakers you would need a Digital to Analog Converter which can be connected to a power amplifier.  Using the CC8520 to send the audio signal from the head unit to the rear amplifier would be a very effective way to totally eliminate the ground hum, and would almost definitely cost considerably less than what a some sets of high performance RCA cables cost.
