Using the purepath standard 2.1 model and referencing the DRC tweeter

When I change fc1 the low pass frequency from 1000 to 500 hz

( which appears to update both fc1and fc2 together

I get he following I2c capture

It appears that the update command sequence for the second filter requires a rolls over from page 10 to page 11.

My questions is this rollover expliitly require to change the page or will writing to 74 rollover automatically

Hello Richard,

The device will not automatically switch pages, it needs to be done explicitly in your I2C writes to configure the proper registers.

Hello Richard,

When you finalize your PPC3 configuration all register configurations can be exported as a header file.

Can refer to the following How to Generate a Header File for TAS5805M in PPC3.pdf

I already do that . My problem is I ahve an application where I want to change parameters on the fly. Most things work as expected but I ran into a couple of snags like above.

One more question same topic.

I see from the I2C monitor , that when you change one parameter , the i2c show multiple commands

For example on the Spatialzer , when you change the high ass filter cutoff it also writes the gain setting although that hasn't chaaged

Like So

Seems the PPC3 software write the Gain value every time you change anything. You needn't to fully follow this.
