TAS2563: GPIO pin functionality

Part Number: TAS2563

Hi Sirs,

Base on the datasheet, TAS2563 have a GPIO pin that can be configure.

I have 1 use case that which to use this pin to trigger another device when TAS2563 is enable/disable.

So can it be configure as such way?

Thanks!

  • Hi Joo,

The main function of GPIO pin is for clock input in some limited cases when MCLK is required. Other than that, the configuration of this pin is gated and only considers general purpose input and output function with a buffer in register, no direct control by internal state of the device.

As alternative, you may use INTz pin itself. There is a flag for "power up" which you can unmask using bit 0 on register 0x1C page 0 book 0. Although this pin would trigger any other interrupt that is not masked.

    Best regards.
