TAS6584-Q1: Speed up initialization

Part Number: TAS6584-Q1

Dear e2e support,

You will find below a couple of customer questions, specifically about the registers 0x74 and 0x75:

We have an 8ohm load connected to the first channel of a TAS6584.
We see that after initializing the TAS, when queried on registers 0x74 and 0x75 it always responds 0x00, even though PVDD is present, and the environment is not at absolute zero.

The TAS keeps responding 0x00 to both registers for more than 350ms.
Since we need to speed up this stage, we have some questions:

  • What is the reason for the TAS responding with 0x00 to registers 0x74 and 0x75, even though PVDD is not 0V and the ambient temperature is about 25 degrees Celsius?
  • How can I speed up this step?

Regards,
