Even though I muted the HPR with 0x4140, the sound comes out as HPOR. (It doesn't sound right.)

I want only HPOL to have sound and HPOR to have no sound.
What is the cause?

I believe these are internal switches which will automatically open/close based on the configuration.

Can you try single monaural output? Normally monaural output means only 1 side will carry sound.

I don't have the EVM to try this out as it is no longer available.
