Hello Team,

is it possible to use our PurePath Studio 1 with motherboard connecting a customer board (with TAS5720-Q1) and not having the configuration EEPROM?

They found a EEPROM on the TAS5720A-Q1EVM and are wondering if they can get the content of this EEPROM.

If it necessary to connect CMBEVM with customer board correctly seems they need this EEPROM or is there another way without?

I'm sorry that it maybe very hard try to change the EEPROM data. The most simple way is to using flying wire to send I2C BUS into customer's board.

Hello, sorry for confusion - the idea is not to change the EEPROM but to get the data which are stored in the EEPROM! This enables customer to emulate our EVM board and GUI-SW see the TAS5720 configuration.

Hello Josef,

The EEPROM is not actually used to configure the device. The PPCMB is used to configure the TAS5720, however if you want an example script to configure the PPCMB and turn on the device here is one: TAS5720A_Q1_USB PBTL.cfg
