TLV320ADC3100: About single- ended mode

Part Number: TLV320ADC3100

Hello,

My customer is asking about single- ended mode on TLV320ADC3100 .

 1) When IN2L/IN2Ror IN3L/IN3Rwill be used on single- ended mode,

what should they do with the unconnected input pin (IN2L/IN2R or IN3L/IN3R)?

 2) If they don't use the miniDSP function, do they need to make anything hardware or software(register) configuration?

Regards,

Tao_2199

  • Hi Tao,

Unconnected inputs should be AC coupled to GND with 0.47uF cap or similar sized capacitor. That is our recommendation for noise performance however they can be left floating since they are digitally disconnected.

This device does not have miniDSP, so no nothing needs to be done. The ADC processing blocks are the only options.

    Best regards,
    Jeff McPherson
