Hi

AHD Camera video accesses DV660 MB via VX1. As described in the block diagram below. The DV607 and DV660 in blue boxes are projects that we have mass-produced. The customer plans to connect the AHD Camera's Audio to the DV660 MB The ADC and MCU in the pink box are the parts we want to implement next.

There are two types of AHD cameras, namely STSC272 and STSC201. The circuits corresponding to the Audio part are as follows The measured waveform is as shown in the attachment

Is it OK to implement ADC convert to I2S using PCM1821? Thanks

    Hi Gareth,

    I cannot review the validity of the AHD camera schematic but I could review PCM1821 schematic f there is one, in addition there is no input waveform attached.

    To answer your question, Yes the ADC can convert an analog signal to I2S audio format. It's important to know in your ADC schematic what input configuration you have and what your input signal level is.
