Special application speaker needs response from Dc to 10kHz

what chip you plan to use?

we can disable the hpf and DC blocking in the chip, but the problem is does the speaker can suffer DC?

for if the DC sustain time is long, or just very low frequency signal, the speaker might be damaged.

Hi Jesse,

We have not selected any chip so far. We need something data can take analog signal (single channel - mono or stereo) and either directly give the output with built-in power devices or use external power devices and gate driver. PWM section should be built-in.

Since our design is different, DC will not damage the speaker. The voice coil will allow +10mm and -10mm displacement from the centre position. The application is different in my case, we will make the speaker differently.

About the tas5805 or 5825, we can disable the DC block in the chip to allow lower frequency signal be pass through.

I checked TAS5805 and TAS5825, both these IC have digital input. I need an IC with analog input. Please suggest suitable option.

considering analog amps using caps at the input to filter the DC, if customer want the DC be inputted, removing the cap at the input will be possible.

but usually we don't recommend doing like that for usual application will not allow DC be outputted, so output with DC hasn't be verified.

Thanks for the input. The IC TAS5441-Q1 suits my requirement. What are the chance of this IC working well from DC? May I ask you to suggest a schematic for the same so that we do not waste a lot of time trying unreasonable solutions.
