TLV320ADC3001: Maximum internal inductance and capacitance

Part Number: TLV320ADC3001

We are using this IC in a Product which requires Intrinsic ATEX Aproval.

As such we need to know the Maximum internal inductance and capacitance of the part TLV320ADC3001IYZHR.

Could you please provide this information as it is not included on the datasheet.

Can you provide a little more details? Are you asking the inductance and capacitance of the entire device or specific pin?

Hi Daveon,

The Entire Device please.

ATEX approval requires that we provide proof of the entire capacitance and Inductance of the design.

I am hoping that the Design Engineers will know if internal Capacitance or Inductance is added to the device?

I have had answers back from other semiconductor manufacturers.

Hi Giles,

The response from our design team -

The total capacitance on chip will be <10nF and total inductance <100nH. Mostly the other components in the customer’s system (a long transmission cable for instance) will limit the system C and L and not our device
