PCM3168A: Frequency crossover

Hi team,

I would like to check with you for PCM3168A DSP can program frequency crossover for each individual channel ? Is there any cheaper alternative?

    Hi Ernest,

    The DSP is not available in this device to be programmed by the user. If you want to program crossovers, you'll need a codec with a miniDSP. Unfortunately our miniDSP codecs are stereo and don't support the same channel count that the PCM3168A does. If you'd like a place to start I recommend the TLV320AIC3254.
