TPA3223: What is the power draw of the AVDD and VDD rails under full load

Part Number: TPA3223

We are currently looking at implementing the TPA3223 into one of our new designs, however I have noticed there is no information on the supply current to the AVDD rail. I am assuming this is because the draw on these pins is very low, however could you please confirm this please?

Alongside this the VDD Supply Current is only given during reset mode, or when no audio signal is given. I am assuming because it's 150 uA when there is no input audio signal, and it does not rise significantly when under use, but could we please get confirmation of this please?

Additionally, the User's Guide for the TPA3223 Evaluation Module has references in its List of Figures and List of Tables to several tables and figures that do not exist in the document.

Thank you.

  • Hi Lewis

The power drawn from AVDD should smaller than 0.5W for all of the conditions.

I am assuming because it's 150 uA when there is no input audio signal

Yes, the test is under idle state. And it's value won't change too much by given different input signal.

Seems the Contents indeed has some problem, doesn't create the correct link. But most of the table and figure indeed exist, please check them inside of the document.
