Hi,

1. Is it possible to drive 8Ω speakers in single end mode?

2. Is it correct to understand that the gain when operating in single end mode is half of the bridged-tied load mode gain?

    Hi Nishie-san,

    Nor sure if you mean single ended connection for the output of the amplifier to the load, or for the amplifier inputs.

    8Ω speaker should be OK in either case. The gain is not really modified by single ended or differential, but the resulting signal is indeed half compared to BTL.
