TAS5755MEVM: PurePathConsole3 application no response when EVM connect to PC

Hi,

I have a problem when I use PPC3, below is my environment

OS: Win10

HW: TAS5755MEVM + MC57xxPSIA

My problem is: that the PPC3 app UI will freeze when MC57xxPSIA connects (USB). The UI will work when I remove the device immediately.

I have done the below check

1. check the device manager when the device connects. A new device appears in “device manager-> Human Interface Device-> USB 輸入裝置”. It looks like the device working fine.

2. I have download and try the “TAS57X1 Graphical Design Environment (GDE)”. It can work without problem, I can use this tool to turn on/off mute. And I can play the audio with this hardware.

Sounds quite a strange problem. On this computer, did we use PPC3 software successfully controlled any other EVM previously?

Yes, I have try upgrade MC57xxPSIA_Firmware, but it has no different. This may cause by PC driver or application library (like .net). I have no idea. Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Shadow He:

I have checked my MCR. Path and installation are correct.

I feel PPC3 wants to get EVM data or information let UI has no response. so when I remove EVM let communication error, it go back to normal operation. But I have tried to plug in EVM for 10 minutes, it can't finish the task.

I think my EVM is ok. because "TAS57X1 Graphical Design Environment (GDE)" works fine. or does the MC57xxPSIA jumper need to be modified for PPC3?

I find out 1PCS TAS57x1 board, and tried with PPC3. It turns out your situation is normal behavior, indeed PPC3 can't recognize this board. The device TAS1020B been given different config codes for this board, may not able to use PPC3 connect.
