TAS6424E-Q1: Suppress current function at high temperatures

Part Number: TAS6424E-Q1

Hi team,

Is there any function to suppress current at high temperatures in TAS6424E-Q1, like "Thermal gain foldback"?

If not, how to control current at high temp.

Regards,

Youhei MIYAOKA

  • Youhei,

You will need to use the over temperature warning function to determine that the device is hot and then create your own algorithm to reduce the signal level using your DSP or the volume control function in the TAS6424E-Q1.
