TLV320ADC6120: Is there an AVSS pin?

The datasheet refers to an AVSS pin.

However it appears that all ground pins are named VSS.

Which pin, if any, is the AVSS pin?

Hi,

There is no AVSS pin on ADC6120, this does exist on ADC6140 so this is likely just a scribal error in the datasheet.

Nonetheless, whether AVSS or VSS we instruct to connect to the ground plane.

Hi Luke,

I am an applications engineer within TI supporting our audio devices.

For practical measures if you have an analog ground on your board we recommend to connect it to VSS (thermal pad).

I can make a note for a datasheet revision, but keep in mind the process for datasheet revisions is fairly long (depending on the severity of the correction) and won't be updated on ti.com quickly. Just for your information.
