DIT4096: Input output delay time

Part Number: DIT4096
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DIR9001

Hi All,

I have a question regarding DIT4096.
Please tell me the delay time from input to output.

Best Regards,
Ishiwata

  • Hello Ishiwata,

There is no specific data for this part,  the only piece of information that we have is from a pervious  post that it suggests:

The data sheet states that the DIR9001 delay from SPDIF input to LRCKO toggle is 3/Fs, meaning at 48 kHz sampling, will be 62.5 us, and less at 96 kHz. I do not have a measurement for the DIT4096, but I do not think it would be too far off what the DIR's delay is.

    Regards,

    Arash

  • Hi Arash、

    Thank you for your answer.

    I have an additional question.
I plan to use multiple DIT4096.
If the input timing of each device is the same, will the output timing be different?
How many Fs will change? Or does it shift?
I don't think the output timing of each device is significantly different.

    Best Regards,
    Ishiwata

  • Hi Ishiwata, You are most welcome.

Delay is sampling frequency dependent,  so they all would  propagate the same with  3/Fs delay( as we established from above) .
