Have designed a DSP around a PCM1808 as ADC running in Master mode on I2S, a ADAU1701 as processor, and 2 x PCM5102A as DAC outputs

DAC in free running mode to avoid the MCLK lines and the noise it might emit

Question:

How does the free running mode for the PCM5102A affect performance, if any?
