Hi TI E2E,

After 14 years our current AEC solution for intercom product is EoL and are looking for a replacement.

I gather that due to integration complexity, TI are selective in which opportunities you pursue.

Some information on our current product.

1x mic, 1x loudspeaker at each end.
8kHz sampling rate.
Near field operation.
~1000 units shipped annually.

Would TI be interested in supplying an AEC solution for our intercom product?

Hi,

Each solution is different depending on the system under test. A solution of one does not necessarily tune/suitable for another.

We don't have the resources to support such applications.

We are looking for a robust AEC solution so I appreciate your being upfront about TLV320AIC3256 AEC limitations.

Can you suggest an alternative solution?

You can check with TMS320C8x multiprocessor digital signal processor (DSP) team if they can support such application.

Use the e2e thread and enter the part number to get the right support.
