Hi Sir,
I saw the TAS5805M spec mentions THD manager, level meter, DC blocking,
But it doesn't discript more about them.
I would like to know what they mean and if it is necessary for us to use it.
Could you help this?
Hi Mimon
Level meter is some registers, that you could use their value to calculate what is current output. Seldom been used.
DC blocking is a internal digital filter, to remove DC signal which may damage Speaker. Default enabled, no need to adjust.
THD manager, I'm not sure which block we are talking about, may I know where do you find this one?
Hi Sir
Please refer the following picture as TAS5805 spec.
I marked blue color for the THD manager.
Regarding Level meter, where are those register and what's the formula if I get the register value to transform the current output?
(is it the output voltage or current?)
Hi Simon
It seems describes the Mono 1.1 process flow, the Woofer path. And is talking about Clipper & Makeup Gain. Also not been sued often.
