TAS5827: What is the recommandation capacitance for bootstrap capacitor?

Hi TI Team,

Please help to confirm the correct value of bootstrap capacitors, because in TAS5825P application note TI suggest 0.22uF, but in the application circuit it’s 0.47uF. In TAS5827 application circuit it’s 0.47uF.

And how to choose a suiltable capacitance for bootstrap?

hi will

for tas5825p is our older device.

both 0.47uF and 0.22uF can work for bst cap. but the main point is its DC bias should be stable.

with 0.22uF, sometimes its dc bias is large which is why we recommend using 0.47uF to keep enough variance, even DC voltage be applied, it will not drop below 0.22uF
