TPA3255: Precautions and guidelines to mount Heatsink over TPA-3255 IC package

Hi All,

Could anyone let know -

1.What is the precautions or standard guidelines to mount Heatsink (part#ATS-TI10P-519) over TPA3255 IC package.

2. What are the exact torque required to fit the Heatsink over TPA3255 so that we wont damage it.

3. My Heatsink is touching 0.2mm positive side over TPA3255 IC surface - is there any impact due to this fitting management?

Hi Pradeep

The max pressure on Top of the device is 200N. You could use this value to design your side mechanical structure.
