    Correct, if you pull up the GPIO pin we recommend a 20k resistor to IOVDD.

    1. Does the TAC5212 have pull resistors internal to the part on the GPIO pins which are configurable in user mode (pull-up / pull-down / none)?

    2. If it has, what are the pertinent registers to control the pull direction, please?

    3. R_PD (the internal pull-down resistors possibly applicable to the GPIO pins) has a typical value of 20 kΩ, according to the datasheet. What is the corresponding typical value of the pull-up resistor, if there is one, please?

  • Hi Bernhard,

    The architecture of the GPIO pin is of CMOS logic circuit type. Depending on the user mode of the pin, you may be able to configure the output drive to one of the options shown below. In order to change the state from low to high or vice versa an external pull up/down resistor of 20k to IOVDD is typical.

    Unfortunately not.

    Both pull up and pull down are 20k
