Hello, I am Kent. Encountering high temperature issues, please assist.
The chip TPA3110D2 is not equipped with a heat sink. When 24V is input, the chip is 65 ℃ under no-load conditions, and the 10uH inductance is 65.8 ℃; Single channel 10W8ohm playback 1kHz 0dB, chip 81.8 ℃, 10uh inductance 67.4 ℃. Dual channel 10W8ohm (total 20W), chip 95.6 ℃, 10uh inductance 67.5 ℃.

Hi Kent,

The device will work until the junction gets to 150C. At this point the device will stop playing until it has cooled by 15C.

Another question，Without power limitation, the load is 15W8ohm, why does the current(CH4) top off?

Hi Kent,

The current is capped due to clipping of your signal. This could be due to the input signal not being balanced properly or clipping. Can you get scope shots of the +/- inputs and outputs for the same channel?
