The schematic looks ok to me. I would recommend to add 22-100 Ohm series resistors to I2S signals..

Hi Rubin, officially whatever is in datasheet is what we have and we share with customer. However I was able to find the following information in Galileo from 12 years ago.

We select PCM5102A at present.However,the I/O level of our SOC is 1.2V,level conversion is required.Could you please recommend DAC chip of 1.2V I/O level?Whether the chip will be developed later?

Hi Lakshmi,
TAD5242 and TAD5212 have not been put into mass production yet.
Currently, 3.3 V to1.2 V can only be implemented through level conversion IC.
Can you help me evaluate whether this solution is risky?Especially the audio interface such as TDM/I2S.

Hi Rubin,
I am not sure that level translators are good for analog supplies. You would need to ensure that the current output is valid.
Otherwise a boost would be a better option. Also be aware that 1.8V is supported, not just 3.3V.

Level switching applies only to digital signals:I2S/TDM、I2C、IO.
Is the plan of using level conversion chip risky?

Hi Rubin,
We have many board with ICs that do level conversion, I don't see any issue with level conversion in general, as long as the levels are compatible with destination chip.

Can PCM5102A be used to drive only one speaker?For example, if OUTL is used to drive a speaker, OUTR is not used.How to handle the unused pin of OUTR?

Hi,
It is a stereo line out DAC, and from functional block diagram you see two independent paths for left and right channel. So if you don't want to use the left or right channel , it is ok. The min. load impedance is 1K, so I would connect a similar dummy load to the unused channel.

Yes, Correct.
For the sake of symmetry and robustness, I would add the same LP filter that you are using to unused channel too.
As it is mentioned in datasheet, Mute is active low, so you should use pull up to keep it unmuted as default.
Searching our reference design in ti.com gives you TIDA-00223.
