Hi Tony.
you requested access and are attempting to download from the following location correct? https://www.ti.com/securesoftware/docs/securesoftware

Arthur
I think that is a different location. When I go to that link, it says I don't have any secure resources.
I requested access and was accepted. The only place I can go is:https://www.ti.com/secureresources/PUREPATHCONSOLE? There's a link on that page which says there's a new location for secure resources, but when I click it, it just takes me to the same page.
I think you're on the right track, now just need to get the resource to be available on the page you linked to.
Thanks.
Hi Tony,
The PPC3_Platform_WinInstaller.exe is the link that is showing you the error? it is working on my side.
Could you perhaps try in a different browser?

Arthur
Hey Arthur,
Most of the other links for the v3 and v3_alpfa don't work. I was able to download v2 PPC, but that doesn't work with the TAS2781EVM. I have tried 3 different browsers (chrome, edge and safari), 3 different networks and 4 different computers. I'm flummoxed.
Which link are you trying when you succeed? https://www.ti.com/securesoftware/docs/securesoftware or https://www.ti.com/secureresources/PUREPATHCONSOLE?
Any chance you could attach the win installer to this post? I'm running out of time to validate that this audio chip will work for our needs.
I appreciate your help.
Thanks. I was able to download the file from your email.
After I installed PPC3, I tried to get the TAS2781 EVM plugin, but it says no available apps and to contact the TI Team. I'm signed in. Do I need to request access for the EVM app as well?
Have you requested access to the TAS2781 PPC3 application? If so i will try to expedite your approval.
I have not. I requested access and got accepted for the PPC3 application, but couldn't find where to request the TAS2781 app.
Hi Tony,
Appolgies, It looks like we recently have been changing our system and it been causing these types of hiccups. Can you check this FAQ?
I believe the new system will also require you to request access through this link here https://www.ti.com/drr/opn/TAS2781-SW, and then follow the steps as outlined in the FAQ
Regards,
Arthur
Almost there. I was able to request access to the TAS2781-SW and was granted access, but when I go to download the tar.gz file, I get:
I saw your request and granted it, I shared again over email

Arthur
I was able to get the TAS2781 EVM app installed and properly configure the EVM so that I could hear sound out of the connected speaker. I do run into a warning message when starting the TAS2781 EVM app, but all the controls still seem to work. Any suggestions on if or how I should try correcting this warning?
Hi Tony,
this issue is due to a mismatch in the hardware IDs between the EEPROM on the EVM and the value which PPC3 is expecting. We have fixed this on the latest revision of the EVM to not throw this error.
It wont be impacting the functionality of PPC3 just serves to highlight the app for the detected EVM when in the "App Center" in PPC3
