TAS5731M: Backgruond noise

Tool/software:

When our TV does not play any audio, the speaker will have some background noise. Does TAS5731M have a similar noise gate function to eliminate such background noise?

    Hi,

    Is your noise from the LC filter and what configuration (BTL, PBTL) are you using? Please pay attention to section 10 of the datasheet. If you hear a noise when the device is powered off, there may be a noisy power supply. Try using a different power supply. Thanks.

    Hi Sam,
    1, this noise is not from the LC filter
    2. The amplifier is configured as BTL
    3. After the device is powered off, the noise disappears
    4, I once again describe this problem, our TV has HDMI interface and VGA interface, access HDMI device, TV does not have this noise, access VGA device, when the TV volume is adjusted to the maximum, you can hear the noise, when the TV volume is adjusted to about 60% or 70%, the noise almost disappeared

    The noise is most likely from your audio input. This device does not have a noise gate function. Please check and filter your audio input accordingly. Please check your audio input. Thanks.
