I need to install TAS6424EQ1EVM application in PURE PATH CONSOLE 3. I already requested the access but still approval is pending. Can you help here?
How can i use TDM8 mode for 4 channels with 4 speakers (1 speaker for each channel)? I am providing Tx through SDIN pin in TAS6424EQ1EVM in which data is in 4 channel TDM form and providing MCLK, SCLK and LRCLK also as per customer's requirements.

Hi Rajul,

The EVM has the capability to insert your TDM signal through headers. Using the datasheet set up your TDM8 accordingly. You can select the first 4 slots, or the last 4 slots of teh TDM signal to be used by the TAS6424E. The audio used from the USB source is only I2S. You will use the PPC3 as a I2C controller and use the external source for your TDM.

Hi Gregg,

Thanks for the valuable information about usage of TDM8. I will try to explore datasheet for my use case as per your suggestion. I have a major issue with installation.

I got the GUI access of TAS6424EQ1 but I can't find the EVM apps in the "Available EVM Apps" of my PPC3.

How to install the GUI of the EVM? In image you can see that i got the access for the evm app.
